Job Description

We are currently seeking HIGH ENERGY caring, patient, enthusiastic, reliable individuals who love kids, physical activity, and soccer to provide children ages 3-5 with creative, simple play activities through Soccer Shots classes in a way that enables children to exercise and have fun with the world's most popular game, soccer!

Instructors compensation starts at $20 per session. Each session is 30 to 40 minutes long. Soccer Shots provides your training, equipment, and all curriculum materials. At some centers, there will be multiple sessions, meaning you could run 2 or even 3 sessions in a row.

This is a part-time position with potential for growth. Instructor must be available Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm (hours can be somewhat flexible, depending on your schedule).
The ideal instructor meets the following criteria:
Responsible Arrives on time to each session, can handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Soccer Shots director, etc.

Experience with Children Previous experience working with young children (3-5 years old). This is more important that having played soccer.

Professional Neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with day care center staff and director, self-assured.

Enthusiastic Must enjoy interacting with young kids, be able to connect with kids ages 3-5, make the Soccer Shots session the highlight of every child's week, etc.

Soccer Official soccer experience is not required. However, having some familiarity with the game either as a player or coach will be helpful.

Physical Demands & Work Environment Soccer Shots classes require instructors to be physically fit and support an active lifestyle. The work environment during a typical class can be indoor or outdoor (weather permitting) and the noise level is usually moderate to loud.

In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance andBackground Check.
